Finally, the first round already done. Becoming first might not always be good, but at least you’ve done an incredible performance. Congratulation. There are 24 Students who become the judges from the second grade. Thanks a lot ;). Here’s the brief result:

What Goes Around, Comes Around…

10 days. What an amazing moment I had. At first I thought I would spend boring days, but I was wrong. I have two wonderful sisters who accompany me, especially the little one who I spent my time with more than anyone here. Watching movies together, reading book together, discussing many silly subjects, awesome. I have a wonderful mother who tried her best to do special cook for me, her amazing food – irreplaceable :’). I have an amazing dad with his care with my condition, and in the last day he bought me also sandals, hoho.. “sendalnya udah jelek gitu pik,pake yang ini ajaa” :’)

My fiancé who always gave her best care – even with no-time-to-meet by this ‘karantina’, I can see you clearly with my heart, dear :’) Her parents who also came here gave their best support, huge thanks :D. Uda + Enna who put their best effort to find my house, hehe.. And also their amazing book, Grimm Stories, and I should learn again how to read in Germany :’) danke..

I had wonderful time. I really enjoyed it. Even I should sleep in ‘special bed’ with ‘special pillow and blanket’, I should use only one ‘special towel’, I do love them all.

 

The Big 16 of X Factor US Season 2

Hmn.. This is my first time for following this kind of talent show. At first – it was just because Britney Spears became one of the judges. But then, I saw many people were fighting for their dreams, I saw that ‘5 minutes’ can change your future, I saw willing, effort, and talent cannot be separated.

Konsep acaranya mungkin ‘sedikit’ berbeda sama American Idol ataupun talent lain. Di sini, setiap peserta terbagi jadi 4 kelompok, dengan masing” coatch. Bisa dibilang mirip The Voice. *siapa mirip siapa? Hmn.. Di season 2 versi US ini, ada 4 kelompok yang berbeda sama taun kemaren. Teens (below 18) belongs to Britney Spears, Young Adult (18-25) belongs to Demi Lovano, Over 25’ belongs to L.A. Reid, and Groups belongs to Simon Cowell. And today, it’s officially announced The Big 16.

 

Grimm Brothers’ Tales

Grimm Brothers, Jacob dan Wilhelm, adalah dua  bersaudara berkebangsaan Jerman yang mengumpulkan dongeng-dongeng yang tersebar saat itu. Terjadi salah kaprah ketika beberapa orang menganggap mereka merupakan pembuat cerita itu sendiri, padahal mereka hanya mengumpulkan cerita-cerita yang tersebar secara turun menurun tanpa manuskrip yang tertulis jelas.

Jacob lahir pada tahun 1785, dan Wilhelm lahir satu tahun setelahnya. Mereka adalah cendikiawan yang menghabiskan waktunya untuk melakukan penelitian. Ayah mereka, Philipp Wilhelm Grimm, adalah seorang pengacara yang sudah meninggal ketika mereka masih anak-anak. Ibu mereka, Dorothea Grimm meninginakan kedua anaknya mengikuti jejak sang ayah sehingga menyekolahkannya di University of Marburg.

Tahun 1806, mereka mulai mengumpulkan dongeng-dongeng rakyat Jerman. Pada tahun 1810, Grimm menyusun manuskrip cerita-cerita tersebut dan menerbitkan kumpulan cerita pertamanya tahun 1812. Kumpulan cerita pertama terdiri dari 86 cerita dengan judul Kinder- und Hausmarchen atau Dongeng-Dongeng Anak-Anak dan Rumah Tangga. Tahun 1814, mereka menerbitkan kumpulkan cerita kedua dengan 70 cerita tambahan di dalamnya. Pada tahun 1857, revisi volume ke-7 berisi 210 cerita.

 

Just for Laughs

Saya termasuk orang yang teramat sangat sulit ketawa untuk hal” yang berbau komedi. Buku” genre komedi kaya My Stupid Boss pun paling bikin senyum”.. Ya iya lah, jangan bandingkan buku sama tontonan audio visual.. Tapi tontonan yang bisa bikin ngakak juga jarang banget, apa ya? Yang ada malah terkesan norak, garing, ga banget pokonya..

Tapi ini beda..

Subuh” sahur bareng sekeluarga, nonton channel Universal, eh – ada Just for Laughs.. Just For Laughs Gags itu  acara komedi bisu Kanada yang dibuat oleh grup Just For Laughs. Acara ini menampilkan orang-orang yang dijebak dalam berbagai situasi aneh oleh para aktor sementara sebuah kamera tersembunyi merekam reaksi mereka. Acara ini tidak berisi suara apa pun, kecuali efek suara, tawa, dan musik.

 

In Time

Really wanted to watch it on the big screen – but what could I do when the time was running out? :’) Fortunately, my dear baby big brother *saking lebay-nya, hoho, Uda Rahli came to my place tonight, not only brought me two big box of martabak, but also gave me several movies.. *two actually.. thanks bro!

In Time. From the players – of course Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried ring the bell. They can be categorized has big name. Ya..ya.. Even he is a solo singer/actor now, his background in NSYNC  is unforgotten, hehe.. Still one of my favorite singer *and actor. Seyfried – of course her Cloe always be my flava, and her Red Riding Hood was not that bad actually :).

 

The Winner of MasterChef US Season 3: Christine Ha

Awalnya ga terlalu ngeh sama MasterChef. Yang versi Indonesia-nya aja ga ngikutin banget, kalo kebetulan ada di rumah aja baru ketonton, ga disengajain. But this is different. MasterChef US Season 3. Pertama kali liat di StarWorld, episode yang mereka dibagi 2 kelompok, terus harus masak untuk para mariner di kamp. Latihan perang, wiw.. But still, someone who already stole my heart is – Christine Ha.

She is a Vietnam-American, 32 Years old. She suffers from neuromyelitis optica. In 1999 she lost sight in one eye, and was completely blind by 2007. She is blind. But she can proof anybody that disability cannot stop her become success.

Dari embah Wikipedia dapet info, She received a Bachelor of Desinens Administration degree in Finance/MIS from University of Texas at Austin in 2001 and is now a Master of Fine Arts candidate for creative fiction/nonfiction at University of Houston’s Creative Writing Program. She recently received the editor’s poetry prize from The ScissorTale Review and was a finalist in the 2010 Creative Nonfiction MFA Program-Off contest. Wiw, walopun punya keterbatasan, tapi gelar Master udah ditangan, ckckck…

Sempet bertanya”, kalo ga bias liat – gimana masaknya? Dia punya asisten – terlihat cheating, tapi sebenernya engga. Asistennya Cuma bantu untuk ngasih tau apa yang ada di meja, bahan”, lokasi alat masak, tapi untuk urusan motong – masak – ngerasain masakan – semuanya, dia kerjain sendiri. Asistennya Cuma jadi pengganti ‘mata’nya aja, tapi untuk cooking stuff, she does them all alone :’).

Di StarWorld kalo ga salah baru sampe episode 5, kalo di Indowebter udah lengkap, hoho..

Hibernate Mode: On

Today I learn, I was selfish – or still I am…

Yesterday was my bad day. I just felt unwell with my body – just became a silent person at school. At the campus, I became a very sensitive lecturer – getting mad with rising tone of voice. Something wrong with my body I know.. At that time, I thought because I didn’t have my breakfast and lunch – cause the unwell condition.

Today, I decided not to go to school. I should also check my students Speech Scripts before the competition begins. I bought my breakfast and lunch in the same time, since I felt so weak at that time. But after I got the medicine from my teacher *thanks a lot for Ms. Siti + Ms. Imma who brought the aspirin for me, and got my ‘light sleep’, I was feeling better.

Then suddenly, right before Ashar, I just realized – a tiny round liquid spot appears on my chest. Tiiiiinnnggggg.. My mind was checking the memory when one of my lovely student at Mentari was sick – then last Monday – we both gave our daily greeting – Hugging each other and says – “I love you”, and replied “I Love You Too”.

It might not the main factors. Sumedang – Jakarta – Bandung – Sumedang was not a short journey. Maybe I was too tired. In the same time, I skipped my breakfast + lunch also. So, here I am.

 

Tic Toc

It’s been a week – a whole week without blogging. A whole week without writing the history of mine. Many things were happened. Many memories were made. Many lessons were learned. Time never stops, we are who love to take a rest, and we are who love to cheat the time. But the time never stops. Hold it close, and it will never let you go.

My netbook was broken. It took more than a week to become the new normal. Sorry for several scores that I couldn’t post soon, but I will. Give me the last seconds to give the final touch of my lovely netbook. Thank you for being patient anyway ;).
